The largest famly owned consumer goods company is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join their team in Chicago, IL. As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for their confectionery products, and build lasting relationships with material suppliers.
salary: $34 – $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
+ Monitor and assess changes in relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards, and provide recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
+ Develop and maintain regulatory compliance plans, procedures, and documentation for products, ingredients, and packaging
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Legal, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product life cycle
+ Prepare and submit regulatory submissions, including ingredient and product registrations, to regulatory agencies
+ Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, and coordinate responses to observations and findings
