Your Role:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for month end close activities, collaborating closely with the other members of the finance and accounting groups. This role will have direct interaction with the corporate departments and the business segment finance teams. The individual will be placed in a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvements in our financial close process, with a focus on harmonization efforts around both system and people driven processes. We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace.
You will have the opportunity to:
+ Create monthly financial reports, both within our SAP and Hyperion systems, enhancing the underlying analytical review process.
+ Collaborate with colleagues on the finance team to complete tasks pertaining to the month end close and support analytical reports that are prepared for management review.
+ Create journal entries and perform reconciliations, gathering support to properly support both as it pertains to internal control requirements.
+ Build upon the culture at RCP, focused on the evolution of our people resources and fostering a culture that values teamwork, ethics, and respect for others in our actions and decisions.

We need you to have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Recent college graduates with a Bachelor degree in Accounting are encouraged to apply.
+ 0 – 2 years’ experience
+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP
+ Proven analytical skills and ability to recognize unusual trends
+ Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Detail oriented and organized, able to multi-task and work within strict deadline oriented environment
Icing on the cake:
+ Intern or Co-op
+ Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems
+ Hyperion Reporting and Planning system experience
