First Neighbor is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager at our Mattoon, IL location! The perfect candidate will have experience in Teller and Customer Service duties as well as experience managing front line staff in a bank.
Specific job duties include:
-Assists with the management of branch staff, particularly Tellers and CSRs. Manages the scheduling of staff to ensure appropriate level of customer service is maintained. Serves as an advisor and mentor to the branch staff.
-Helps to establish and attain branch performance goals.
-Assists in performing teller and customer service duties. Oversees daily Teller, ATM and Vault balancing procedures.
-Ensures effective communications to staff and implementation of all bank policy and procedures. Schedules any training necessary for staff.
-Ensures the development of staff and monitors their progress thru performance evaluations and regular check-ins.
-Maintains comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, compliance regulations and bank policies pertaining to deposit, operational and personnel functions.
-Responsible for retaining and expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers, personally calls on customers and prospects.
-Assists the Branch Manager with other duties as assigned, including maintenance of building, grounds, equipment and fixtures.
