School Social Worker
As a unique organization, AnthroMed Education is dedicated to supporting its Social Workers as they provide exceptional services to students within our partnering schools. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of collaboration, and our purpose is to meet the needs of our students. We are seeking to add a full-time Social Worker to our team to support students in Grayslake, IL for the 2023-24 school year. A passionate social worker is needed at this school to provide services to a caseload of approximately 35 students ranging from Early Childhood through Transitional. Job Responsibilities+ Provide services to a caseload of around 35 students in Early Childhood through Transition
+ Support students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities
+ Social worker will be running a group in a classroom weekly, complete re-evaluations, and push-in services to students in classes, recess, and lunch
+ Effectively evaluate, update, and communicate the needs of each student
+ Professionally communicate with students, colleagues, and families
+ Participate in IEPs and all other required meetings to benefit the students’ success
+ Ability to handle crisis situations
+ Work a full-time position with schools hours being 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
+ Dates: August 9th – May 24th, 2024
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements+ Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
+ IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
+ Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
