Job Description
Director of Data Management and Analytics for Nexgen Packaging International, LLC, in Westmont, IL
- Design architecture and continued development of Nexgen data warehouse to further develop its proprietary software and reporting tools, including guidance to Nexgen’s development team.
- Define and execute the use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Tableau, R, and QLIK) in combination with Nexgen’s proprietary software.
- Work closely with finance and customer service teams in Hong Kong to manage data cleanliness and data strategies.
- Work closely with teams in the U.S. and Europe to create business intelligence reports that are aligned with the priorities of the retail, apparel and footwear industry.
- Communicate with Nexgen’s U.S. customers (brand retailers) and their factories or outside manufacturers to understand and contribute to the flow of their data through Nexgen, including factory and brand ERP systems, order information from factories, data from Nexgen systems including ERP (AccPac) and inventory management applications. Prepare reports and gain insights by utilizing data and reporting to make business recommendations.
- Develop customer- facing reporting system based on Nexgen’s internal system that was developed in Hong Kong, including communication and collaborate with customers (U.S. apparels retailers and factories) and partners to study their business and create unique customized analytics for the American customers.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mathematics or statistics or foreign degree equivalent plus 2 years’ experience in the job offered or as Data Analytics Manager designing and creating analytical tools, algorithms and reporting systems in Nexgen’s proprietary software platforms Asset Management and Order Management to utilize the data that is aggregated from retails and manufacturers.
