Come join a dynamic, fast-paced team. The Americas is responsible for managing all aspects of U.S. and Canada payroll delivery and compliance including regular payroll, variable pay programs, foreign assignment payroll, and payroll tax for Intel’s more than 50,000 North American employees.

This role’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Acting as the project manager for payroll projects in the US and Canada by building a project plan, establishing key relationships with internal and external partners, and executing against the project plan

+ Defining requirements and configuration options for payroll, time reporting, and financial interfaces

+ Supporting activities related to the HCM system functionality, including but not limited to testing technology updates and working with HR and IT on system configurations to meet regulatory requirements, process improvements, etc.

+ Leading and driving Global Payroll system-related projects and initiatives

+ Providing subject matter expertise on other HCM system configurations and initiatives as they relate to payroll business processes

+ Partnering with internal organizations to influence payroll service design and delivery to achieve business objectives

+ Ensure payroll compliance with regulatory and internal policy

+ Continuously driving improvements, automation, communication, and education to increase quality, improve employee experience, and enable rapid scaling

+ Managing relationships with third-party vendors for payroll administration

+ Aiding the Payroll team in issue resolution by researching problems, answering inquiries regarding payroll transactions, and training and coaching junior analysts on payroll concepts and issues

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

+ Knowledge of payroll concepts with an understanding of payroll regulations and governmental reporting requirements in the US and Canada

+ Strong leadership skills and desire to coach and develop others

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting

+ 5+ years of experience in U.S. and Canadian payroll

+ 3+ years of experience with Workday and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

+ CPP (US), PCP or CPM (Canada) payroll certification

+ Experience driving Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $96,030.00-$144,050.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
