We have the following position available:

Compliance Quality Inspector

The Compliance Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality inspections and verifications for gas pipeline construction and O&M activities.

Position Function, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Monitor and review gas pipeline construction and O&M activities for compliance with company procedures and all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
Record non-conformances in the company's QAQC database.
Work with on-site personnel and others as needed to review and address pipeline quality issues and non- conformances

Leadership Level:

Informal Leader - No direct reports

Description:

Provides daily work direction to team members / co-workers while performing own job; may contribute to planning, work scheduling and minor decision-making regarding work methods. May provide feedback on team member/co- worker performance to immediate supervisor.

Decision Making Level:

Limited (Individual Contributor)

Description:

Typically resolves straightforward problems or problems that have routine solutions; limited independent discretion; Operates under direct supervision of the Construction Project Manager.

Minimum Experience Required:


1+ years

Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) to generate reports, create pertinent documentation and supply information to relevant parties.


1+ years

Operations computer database data entry and retrieval using hand held computer devices for field reporting.


1+ years

Completion of tasks as part of a project.


1+ years

Interpretation and application of regulations or operating procedures related to natural gas utility operations.


1+ years

Natural gas distribution utility operations functions auditing/process improvement and/or quality assessment or related functions


Qualifications:

 

Degree:

Associate Degree preferred


Area of Study:

Construction Management, Engineering, or related field


Certifications:

N/A


Job Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license Must be fit to wear personal protective equipment
Must perform covered functions under Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA)

Overnight Travel: None
