a Over the past 20+ years, we have developed and operated senior living, assisted living and memory care communities in urban, suburban and rural locations. We’ve grown to become the 10th largest assisted living provider in the U.S. The Social Media Specialist will work with each of the Gardant managed communities to enhance their presence in the Social Media. Involves the development and implementation of communications to help generate leads; brand the community; position the community in the marketplace; and position the community as a resource for information of value to older adults, their families and friends, and service providers. Development and implementation of a Monthly Social Media Calendar which details by day the strategies to be implemented, including one to two daily Facebook posts for each Community. Posting marketing events and news stories on the community’s websites. Maintaining and updates community websites. Assist the Communities on reaching target audiences with e-mail blasts, including the development and maintenance of e-mail lists and the scheduling and execution of e-mail blasts. Writing posts and coordinating approval from the Community and appropriate Gardant staff. Posts to include copy and, as appropriate, pictures and videos. Research and post one Enriching Lives story per quarter on each community’s Facebook page; as well as implementing version of story on each community’s website. Assist VP of Strategic Marketing to conduct research to help identify potential ideas for Social Media postings as well as for potential Gardant Blogs and E-Newsletter items. Monitor comments posted on the Communities’ Social Media pages; delete inappropriate comments; and to work with the Communities and appropriate Gardant staff on how a Community should respond to comments. Monitor social media analytics for each Community and prepare reports showing trends. Training the staff at Communities managed by Gardant and Corporate staff regarding social media. Assist the Communities on reaching target audiences with e-mail blasts, including the development and maintenance of e-mail lists and the scheduling and execution of e-mail blasts. Assisting with Marketing projects. Education/Experience Required: The successful candidate will possess Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years working in digital space or a High School diploma/GED and at least 5 years’ experience working in digital space. At least 3 years of experience working in the social media space; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Experience establishing and maintaining professional partnerships in the social media space. Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within the organization. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows 10, 11 or latest MacOS) and business applications (MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite). Familiarity with Apple iPad/iPhones. Experience with E-commerce technologies. Experience developing social media strategy and capability for an organization.
