As an Electrical Engineering Professional-Associate Level on our Energy and Power design team, you will lead production staff in creating documents to build power generation, substation, and distribution systems across the globe. You’ll utilize both your creative and analytical skills in this role as you plan and design power generation systems, central utility plants, power distribution systems and microgrids.

Responsibilities will include system modeling and calculations including lightning protection, grounding, load flow, short-circuit analyses and arc-flash analysis, coordination studies, protective relay setting development and coordination of electrical interconnection of new generation to the utility power grid.

By driving collaboration and innovation across Energy & Power projects, you’ll grow your consulting career as you develop and implement project plans and designs, ensuring product quality, safety and on-schedule and on-budget completion.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

+ Engineering design experience related to power systems

+ Strong communication and technical writing skills

+ Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing tasks accurately and on time

+ Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

+ Previous MEP design firm and/or consulting experience

+ Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, or ability to obtain within 1 year

+ Power System Modelling Experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP or similar modelling software

+ Experience with power system controls using SEL RTAC or similar automation platforms

+ Experience with 3D modeling and viewing software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, Revit, and NavisWorks
