Roles & Responsibilities:

+ Work with a team of drafters to update existing drawings, create new, detail and assist in release of development and production drawings

+ Design and analyze drawings in 2D atmosphere with some 3D modeling

+ Manage part creation from concept to production prints

+ Track and document assembly piece parts within larger assembly drawing

+ Maintain revision control and release parts per customer standards

+ Attend occasional customer meetings to present drafts

+ May perform stack-ups and/or drawing checking functions

+ Must support initial layouts and manufacturability

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

+ Associates degree OR 2 year Technical Certificate with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in design engineering.

+ OR High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years’ experience in design engineering.

+ Product Management: Execution and Support

+ AutoCAD/CREO or NX Teamcenter experience

+ Ability to develop work instructions

+ Work with Cross-functional teams

+ Quality Management and Continuous Improvement

+ Due to the nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Desired Skills:

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

+ Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

+ Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

+ Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

+ Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

+ Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

+ Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
