Our client is hiring a Senior Director of Finance to immediately join their US Office at a predominantly remote capacity. They are looking for a Senior Director of Finance to supervise all financial tasks of their company and ensure they use capital and resources beneficially. The Senior Director of Finance will have responsibilities include creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. Additionally, this individual will partner with the Business Development, Operations and Legal teams, playing an advisor role during the contracting process to optimize business outcomes, while ensuring accurate revenue recognition. To be successful in this role, you should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.

Summary

The client provides clients with solutions to support their regulatory affairs operations and strategy. They support companies in ensuring regulatory compliance across the globe by providing a team of experts who understand the regulations and can leverage this knowledge to assist our clients in their day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results

• Oversee the accounting, budgeting and financial reporting processes for the association

• Support the revenue recognition process end to end, including contract review, analyze and conclude on accounting treatment, develop operational and accounting processes, record monthly revenue and revenue-related entries and prepare meaningful monthly revenue reporting to drive business insights

• Continuously improve the quality of the revenue recognition process and provide high quality support for all SEC reporting requirements

• Conduct risk management

• Evaluate and decide on investments

• Supervise a team of accountants based globally

• Allocate resources and manage cash flows

• Conduct profit and cost analyses

• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations

• Develop short and long-term financial planning goals and reports

• Comply with all federal, state, and local financial, payroll and tax regulations

• Recommend cost-reducing solutions

Requirements

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

CPA

• MSc/MBA is a plus

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in Quickbooks, PeachTree, or Yardi

• Exposur
