Job Description
Ground Crew Application This is a secondary agricultural application. It provides ground support for agricultural aerial application business. Duties will include: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane. Mix chemicals - Read and understand a load ticket. Load the plane with chemical by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane. Load plane with fertilizer by driving and operating forklift. Clean all equipment daily. Mow airstrips. · Blends and loads all chemical mixes prior to each load/flight. · Clean aircraft. · Maintains general awareness of inventory levels and fuel levels for leader. · Maintains cleanliness in hanger/loadout areas. · Reliable and regular attendance is expected. · Very early mornings are often required. The work environment for this position may require the employee to work in an outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
