Skills – Headstrong Services LLC seeks Technical Project Manager (multiple positions) in Danville, IL to define the execution structure of the proposed project/program, identify the key personnel functions, and advise on resource planning and proposed technologies and platforms. Communicate effectively with client management and staff to ensure that any gaps between client's business requirements and project's technical requirements are resolved. Assist with the day-to-day on-site relationship. Communicate project status, requirements, issues, risks, and assumptions effectively to clients, the business teams, and to offshore development resources. Plan and direct all activities related to multiple software engineering, development, and delivery projects executed within a distributed development framework. Collaborate effectively within globally distributed teams in North America, Europe, and Asia regions. Apply management and technical (distributed and legacy technologies) expertise in primary industry domains (such as Banking and Financial Services, Health Care, and Insurance) to manage and coordinate the overall activities of distributed software engineering and development resources (offshore/onshore) and to establish the feasibility of application development/delivery plans. Communicate effectively with project teams and clients to establish clear goals, timelines and expectations.
Education – Position requires a Master’s degree in a Business, Engineering (all), Computer Science, Sciences, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered, a related IT Project Manager position, or related occupation. As an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Engineering (all), Computer Science, Sciences, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in the job offered, a related IT Project Manager position, or related occupation is also acceptable. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with travel required to unanticipated project sites throughout the U.S. based on client need.
