Job description:
First Shift
Full time
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Unload delivery trucks by hand, or use hand and forklift trucks
· Receive and log deliveries
· Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
· Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
· Match truck shipments with Bills of Lading.
· Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
· Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
· Pick merchandise and prepare all orders for shipment.
· If impaired or damaged merchandise items are received, be able to record and notify management.
· Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
· Keep warehouse clean and organized Warehouse Associate requirements and qualifications
· Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
· Know how to read, write, and communicate in English.
· Do basic math calculations.
· Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker for 1 year a plus
· Hands on experience with inventory and logistics is a plus
· Physical stamina, stand, walk, and have manual dexterity
· Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
· Team player
· Good organizational and time-management skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
· Problem solver
