Job Description

Title: Production Engineering Manager
FLSA: Exempt
Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Work hour: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Salary: $100K-$120K
In this position, efficiencies are reviewed, and waste is reduced within current and future manufacturing processes by implementing new projects.
Responsibilities:
Establishes KPIs for processes to ensure that objectives are met, including plan versus actual.
Overseeing Stamping, Welding, Quality, and Simultaneous Engineering departments
Implements and maintains production systems to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and cost requirements on time.
Provides technical inputs for new business and facilitates successful outcomes.
Communicate with HQ, LCC makers, local suppliers, and entities with technical and cost negotiations.
Coordinates search for new tooling suppliers.
Manages materials for the trial with the purchasing department.
Drives validation plans to ensure robust and comprehensive technology solutions.
Stays current and up to date on any technology changes that may affect manufacturing design and development processes.
Monitors the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.
Monitor and coach the team to operational success.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year College or University or equivalent experience.
Six sigma or TPS certifications preferred.
Minimum of five years of production engineering leadership experience at the manager level in Automotive manufacturing
