This position is accountable for managing the operation of the Regional Training Center to budget and in accordance to corporate safety guidelines. Manager will schedule and lead events such as Prospect Sales Events, Product Testing, Competitive Analysis and manage all aspects of the Regional Training Center operations. This position would be responsible for conducting all technical and business training classes for prospects, employees, vendors and customers.
The core responsibilities and duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Create and deliver global course materials (business or technical training).
* Communicate with Regional Sales Directors on training needs, create the curriculum and deliver at selected sessions.
* Assist sales team at industry relations events (ICAR, Barrett-Jackson, NACE, SEMA, CIC, NABC and ASE).
* Ensure training facilities and equipment is maintained to present a professional image including all site maintenance and improvements.
* Assist field sales team with key account management through product, process trouble shooting with onsite consulting and training and relationship building.
* Assist Technical/Marketing with new product development and product improvements.
* Creation of YouTube Training Videos for use by customers, employees and prospects.
* Creation of Social Media content, Industry articles and technical documents.
* Assert key leadership in maintaining a safe work environment.
* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on industry trends (i.e. equipment, products and processes) within the marketplace.
* Ability to clearly present to customers, employees and prospects.
* Oversee and lead training center staff.
* Creating developmental opportunities for direct staff.
* Adhere to company safety standards at all times.
* Additional duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
- Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High level of knowledge in collision repair industry (products, process and equipment)
- Bi-lingual
- Global acceptance for cultural differences
- Ability to accurately apply automotive finishes
- Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required.
- May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- ASE and ICAR certification
