Job Summary
This Position Is Responsible For The Strategic Direction Of Key Accounts. This Position Is Accountable For Ensuring Continued And Increased Growth Of High Volume Accounts, Negotiating Renewals And Selling Products And Services To Existing Accounts, Consulting With Clients And Brokers, And Working Across Companies To Gain Market Share On A Portfolio Of Products. Ability And Willingness To Travel, As Needed.
Required Job Qualifications:
* Possess current State Agent License OR obtain State Agent License within 90 days of starting in the role.
* 6 years of experience in group life or health insurance products/funding, account management or sales, health/life insurance benefit consulting, or health/life underwriting/business development.
* Thorough knowledge of life/disability group insurance products, processes and trends.
* Experience with large, complex, high volume accounts.
* Experience addressing customer needs and make sound decisions, consultative skills, and customer relations skills.
* PC and database skills, experience analyzing reports.
* Experience developing and facilitating presentations.
* Effective verbal and written communications skills. Build relationships within team and across company to support customers and drive business success.
* Negotiations skills and knowledge of funding.
* Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree.
* Experience managing RFP process.
