Description:
Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team supporting on of our ongoing programs.
+ Troubleshoot day-to-day process problems, implement creative solutions, and validate effectiveness of changes communicating improvements.
+ Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to address Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost opportunities identified through projects.
+ Support New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure that engineering drawings are released/ processed on time and assembly process is aligned to manufacturing requirements within program timelines.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain shop floor processes managing standard work, routings/work instructions, BOM/MBOM, ergonomic requirements, tooling, lifting devices, SFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, flow diagrams.
+ Analyze and recommend current and future systems, procedures, training, and equipment needs based upon understanding and communication with shop floor users, Operations staff, Safety and CPPD with design engineering.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
+ 0-2 years of experience
+ Six Sigma preferred
+ LEAN Manufacturing
