Summary
Internet2 is seeking an Associate Program Manager, based in Ann Arbor or Washington DC (but will be a hybrid position), fully remote is a possibility, who will execute responsibilities including the ongoing management and stewardship of Internet2's cloud services offerings in the infrastructure and platform services and cloud security services portfolios. The Associate Program Manager works in conjunction with cloud services program managers on three to five cloud services within the Internet2 cloud services portfolio.
The incumbent supports service adoption and develops and maintains communities of practice around the services within the portfolio. In addition, the associate program manager is responsible for the stewardship of services in the portfolio including contract updates, adherence to standards, and vendor management. From time to time, the program manager will support the intake of new services and the removal of existing services from the portfolio.
?Qualifications? ?
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or Related Field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of program, project, or product management experience or equivalent education
- Written and oral communication skills - the ability to communicate technical concepts in order to socialize community practices in the use of cloud services and to encourage campus adoption.
- Ability to present information to both technical and non technical audiences, including to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
- Ability to recognize, triage, and troubleshoot pain points in commercial relationships and work to minimize or remedy them.
- Commitment to building open, diverse, and inclusive communities to facilitate collaboration
- Competency in office productivity applications; ability to quickly learn new collaboration applications and/or tools
- Proven ability to work with virtual teams.
