The College of Dentistry is the largest oral health college in the State of Illinois, provides care for 35,000 patients a year, and has over 500 students seeking dental degrees including DMD, PhD and Master's programs. The
Department of Restorative Dentistry at the UIC College of Dentistry is seeking qualified
candidates for several positions from
20% to 40% FTE (part-time) Open Rank Faculty positions in the non-tenure
clinical track for the Pre-Doctoral education program to engage in preclinical
and clinical instruction in all aspects of the Restorative Sciences.

The
Department of Restorative Dentistry supports the patient care and educational
programs associated with the Predoctoral and Advanced Educational Programs of
the College of Dentistry. This includes the predoctoral digital dentistry,
implant program, fixed partial dentures, operative dentistry, removable
prosthodontics, occlusion, and biomaterials, as well as numerous collaborative
efforts. Department faculty are
responsible for up to 40% of the predoctoral educational program.
Qualifications
include a DDS/DMD or equivalent and eligible for licensure in Illinois. Prior teaching experience is highly
preferred, advanced clinical training and board eligibility/certification is
desired but not required. Candidates
must possess a strong commitment to interdisciplinary care and willingness to
engage other academic departments. Salary and academic rank will be
commensurate with experience and qualifications within the norms and criteria
for faculty appointments in the Department of Restorative Dentistry.

The
positions will begin after January 16, 2023. For fullest consideration,
