About the role:
We are looking for a Senior UI Software Engineer to join our collaborative team leading the design and development of software components, reporting to the Sr. Hardware Manager. You will be a part of UI Software design, development and testing using Qt/QML solutions to support our Data Solutions Products that make an impact in the environment!

In this role you will:
+ User interface software design, development and testing using C/C++ and Qt/QML solutions supporting our Data Solutions Products.
+ Take responsibility and ownership of the design, development and maintenance of multiple software components and small projects, from initiation through to integration into a released product.
+ Continuous improvement of software development process using the latest software methodologies.
Are you qualified?
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field with at least 5 years of professional experience in UI development and testing
+ Experience in C/C++ and Qt/QML
+ Good communication skills
+ Thinks through and analyzes complex problems, challenges and drives to root cause
Preferred:
+ Experience in QML responsive design
+ Android or iOS development experience
+ Experience in agile development (scrum framework)
+ Experience with version control systems (e.g., git or svn)
+ Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
+ Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Squish)
+ Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript and/or Flutter
