To support multi-practice growth and its plan to open future locations, Big City Optical is looking to add an Optometrist and a Managing Optometrist to the team of 60 employees across 13 locations.
Each location strives to offer exceptional customer service as well as a tremendous variety of eyewear products to conveniently serve patients. The practices use state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases and utilize digital exam lanes, fundus photography, and a remote refraction system. As each location is fully staffed, the practice flow runs smoothly, enabling the doctors to spend quality time with patients and determine an ongoing treatment plan. In addition, the optical boutiques offer a curated collection of frames, lenses, and sunglasses that reflect the current fashion trends-plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to help simplify the selection process.
About the Full-Time Openings
Big City Optical is looking for two seasoned, highly-skilled Optometrists who can provide unparalleled service to ensure excellent vision care for all patients. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, medical and visual diagnoses-approximately six in-person or telehealth exams are performed daily per doctor. The Managing Optometrist will also manage the day-to-day activities of the Optometrists and team of Technicians. The position is full-time, requiring 40 to 50 hours weekly.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications:
Optometry license in the state of Illinois
Experienced Optometrist with at least ten years in practice
Managing Optometrist must have past leadership experience managing other ODs
