The Workday Financials Strategy and Solutions Consultant will be responsible for supporting Alight Solutions Mid-Majors Sales Organization in North America.
This role will support the sales executives as the Financials Subject Matter Expert and provide solutions for complex deployment scenarios throughout North America for Alight Solution's Workday Financials Deployment practice.
Responsible for maintaining relationships with Workday BDMs in region/market
Support Sales Executives in region/market on all Workday Financial pursuits as a Financial SMEs
Responsible for developing complex delivery solutions for all pursuits within region/ market
Work closely with Global Financials Lead and other regional/market Leads to ensure global standards are met
Work closely with Delivery Leaders to ensure clean hand-off between Sales and Delivery as well as refine delivery and sales methodology
Develop working relationships with other Delivery Leads, Integration Leads, Conversion Leads, Sales Execs, Solutions team, Project Managers, and Engagement Executives
Become a high-level expert in the Workday Financials product suite
Understand Alight Solutions Implementation Methodology and ensure it is followed in the region.
Required Experience:
Experience with Financial related ERP implementations on Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software (UKG), ADP, Ceridian or similar Financials systems. Deep Financial experience with a demonstrated aptitude on system implementation-specific tasks/procedures.
Experience with communication/selling to C-Suite
Experience communicating complex solutions/scenarios to Finance
Experience running Strategy and/or Solution Architect Activities
Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements.
Previous experience within a Finance Role internally (CFO, Controller, FP&A, Accountant, etc.) or as a Financial Consultant/Solution Architect on ERP Implementations on Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software (UKG), ADP, Ceridian or similar Financials systems.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Workday certified optional but preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or Finance, MBA is a plus

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $102,400.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $162,600.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
