Position: Customer Service Representative II
Location: Mattoon, IL

Responsible for transactional customer service and policy renewal process. Primary role is to provide customer service and support as needed. Supports other CSRs, marketers, account representatives, account managers and executives in renewing existing policies and selling new accounts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Renews expiring policies by gathering updated customer information and processing with underwriters/systems for policy issue.
Meets customers' daily requests including policy changes, certificates of insurance, endorsements, claims reporting, provides answers to customer questions.
Monitors policy expiration list to be certain that expiring policies are renewed and remarkets as necessary.
Monitors accounts receivable balances on assigned accounts.
Provides administrative support to producers including preparing insurance applications.
Cross-sell insurance and bank services in a professional manner.
Complete required training associated with job function.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Associates degree preferred.
Prior experience in property-casualty insurance agency or with an insurance company is preferred.
Skills:
Understanding of insurance products and coverages.
High level of organizational and communication skills including the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and establish priorities.
Ability to empathize with customers and to respond appropriately.
High level of ability with Word, Excel and related software.
May be required to work earlier or later than the normal workday.
Must maintain an Illinois Producers license and a valid Illinois driver's license.
May require work outside the office, extended hours or customer visits.
