The Assisted Living Operations Specialist will assume the role of the Administrator during times of vacancy. This position will sit in Indiana or Southern Illinois and play a key role in acquisition activity including interim placement as well as training and establishing Gardant policy and procedures. Additionally, while on assignment, they will coordinate the community quality assurance program and establish systems to monitor compliance to resident care policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with regulations set forth by regulating agencies and local health department as well as other states. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and budgets; establish an accurate accounting system to control expenses for all departments; calculate and process payroll information for all community employees; and monitor accounts receivable reports for billing and collection purposes. The Assisted Living Operations Specialist must have prior Senior Living/Assisted Living Administrator experience and hold a current Indiana Health Facility Administrator’s License or RCA Licensure. Lastly, the ability/desire to be licensed in other States, as necessary. Prior experience as Regional Director of Operations or multi-site experience is preferred. Must be professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must meet the requirements established by the Department of Public Health’s Assisted Living Facility licensure regulations/Healthcare and Family Services certification requirements and must have five – seven years’ experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Excel, Word and Outlook also required.
