J&J Finance is in the midst of a significant transformation that is focused on building new capabilities to

help us be best in class in finance processes, technology, and data. This transformation requires the development of new infrastructure and platforms with this role being responsible for shaping a ‘future proof’ finance business vision, strategy & capability roadmaps, and corresponding technology strategy & product roadmaps.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance System and Data Strategy, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an evolving finance technology landscape aligning the Finance organizations business strategy, processes, technology, and data capabilities while ensuring the business architecture is effectively aligned and communicated throughout the organization. This individual will work hand in hand with business partners and information technology to identify and evaluate new technology and capabilities that supports the strategic roadmap.

As Senior Manager of Finance Systems Integration Strategy you will be responsible for assuring the cohesive integration of complex systems and applications across the finance eco system by developing the finance technology roadmap and establishing a governance program that optimizes business capabilities. This will require the successful candidate to develop a understand of both the existing systems and capabilities as well as the end state capabilities to determine the strategic roadmap outlining the direction and priorities of initiatives while assuring that solutions are working together. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing an enhanced governance for current state eco system initiatives to assure alignment with the end state roadmap, prioritization and resource allocation, communication and stakeholder management while assuring that solutions are working together.

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

+ Responsible for shaping finance business vision, strategy & capability roadmap, and corresponding technology strategy & product roadmap as well as designing and executing the methodology for implementation.

+ Acting as the primary trusted advisor to senior finance & technology leaders across all lifecycles of product development starting with inception through to value realization & ongoing continuous improvement, and communication of progress against strategic objectives

+ Managing vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps & ensure that our needs will be met by our technology partners.

+ Ensuring that finance application development efforts incorporate an approach that starts with experimentation to validate expected impact, includes human centered design, embraces agile principles, incorporates external insights, required end to end process optimizations, and compliance engagement.

+ Understanding external trends and insights related to finance process & technology best practices and benchmarks to provide the foresight vital to making informed strategic decisions

+ Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating ideas, projects and opportunities for new technologies and business needs ensuring solutions are aligned with data strategy and data management principles

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Computer Science, Business or Finance. An advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA) or certification (e.g. CMA, PMP, SAP, DAMA) is preferred.

+ A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience is required.

+ Significant experience and understanding of ERP (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Central Finance) and Planning Systems (Anaplan, TM1, Oracle, OneStream).

+ Deep knowledge of finance process (A2R, I2C, P2P, FP&A) and technology (SAP ERP, Business Warehouse) and the inter-dependencies is required

Required Skills:

+ Has industry, business process and business strategy knowledge, operations knowledge, domain expertise, experience working across multiple levels of business stakeholders

+ Experience in assessing and implementing data systems/technology solutions within Finance business process requirements to successfully drive operational productivity, strategy optimization, process improvements, and efficiencies is required

+ Proficiency to network, collaborate and generate consensus effectively in a complex, matrixed environment possessing strong communication skills, promoting inclusion, and building trusting relationships with business partners across all levels of the organization is required

+ Collaboratively reviews, analyzes, evaluates ideas, projects and opportunities for new technologies and business needs ensuring solutions are aligned with system and data strategy and data management principles

+ A strategic thinker with the ability to bring clarity to complex concepts and to translate business needs into operational finance / technology solutions

+ Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills.

+ Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required as business demands. No relocations will be considered.

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 – $195,500

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
