Position Purpose:
Lead the end-to-end architectural design process for interpreted native (React Native) mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Research, evaluate, and advise on third-party integrations, external interfaces, protocols, and interoperability with other applications.
Designs, developments, and deployments of the enterprise architectural software systems.
Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery.
Establishes, implements, and documents the technology integration or migration strategies.??
Leads application architecture vision for services using technology stacks with a core focus on security, resiliency, scalability, supportability, and performance
Defines requirements and architecture necessary to meet business objectives
Investigates and advises on third-party integrations to develop requirements and architecture associated with external interfaces, protocols, and interoperability with other applications
Collaborates with product and engineering teams to design and build services that meet key product and infrastructure requirements
Delivers both high-level and detailed design for platform and product services
Authors clean, scalable, modular, secure, well-structured, and testable code as needed
Designs and implements microservices with thoughtfully defined APIs
Ensures deployed software can run safely with the proper level of instrumentation and telemetry
Owns designed software/service components from ideation through delivery
Delivers and communicates architecture decisions, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders
Reviews system(s) code and provides feedback to engineering teams
Provides mentoring, coaching and skill development to engineering teams
Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience in designing and delivering native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
Extensive experience developing, architecting, and delivering mobile applications for the US consumer market – required, experience with healthcare applications, preferred
Experience with Agile development including Scrum & KANBAN, and SAFe or other scaling methodologies – required
Expertise in designing and developing mobile applications using React Native frameworks.
Strong proficiency in iOS and Android development, including platform-specific APIs, performance optimization, and backend service integration.
Deep understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
Knowledge of secure coding practices, encryption, and data protection in mobile applications.
Experience with mobile application testing, debugging, and profiling tools.
Familiarity with other cross-platform mobile development frameworks, such as Xamarin or Flutter (preferred).
Knowledge of cloud-based services and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) (preferred).
Understanding of backend technologies and APIs commonly used in mobile application development (preferred).
Proficiency in mobile app analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools (preferred).
Preferred knowledge with Apple/Android licensing, user and application management in an large enterprise environment.
