Job Description
Antioch Korean Baptist Church (DBA Blu Church) seeks Parishioner Instructors to conduct English and Korean classes for parishioners of Antioch Korean Baptist Church. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction to help language skills and other
educational skills of adults and children of the church. Observe parishioners to determine qualifications, limitations, abilities, interests, and other individual characteristics. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet parishioners' varying needs and interests. Monitor students' performance to make suggestions for improvement. Prepare instructional program objectives, outlines, and lesson plans. Prepare materials and classrooms at the Church for class activities.
* Bachelor’s in Education is required.
* The courses the employee will teach are Korean language and Mathematics. The educational level(s)/age(s) of the students to be taught are mainly middle school and high school students from the ages 11 to 18 years old.
* This occupation will require proficiency in Korean, in addition to English, in order to perform the duties required.
