Job Description
Company in Saint Charles is looking to hire machine operators on ALL SHIFTS! They manufacture powder coatings for various industries; automotive, military and other manufacturing industries. They use an extrusion process to create the powder coating on 6-7 different productions lines and are looking to expand which is why they are looking for more talent!
Responsibilities:
- Set up of blenders, mixers, and extruders using base parameters assigned by management
-Prepare pigments and bases together for upcoming runs
-Record operational data on computer controlled machinery and/or specified forms
-Clean and disassemble mixing and bonding equipment
-Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers
-Continually monitor production runs to detect defects or deviations from standards and make minor adjustments as necessary
-Transport finished runs or full skills to shipping warehouse
-Work to continuously improve all areas of productivity and reduce scrap
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
This company is very laid back, clean facility with weekly production goals which they just had an all time high last month and continue to have high demand.
Qualifications:
+ 2-3 years of machine operating experience
+ Mechanically inclined with set-up or troubleshooting experience
+ Quality control experience
+ Understand basic math
