Job Description
We are Currently hiring a Material Handler to join our team in Aurora. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company with a great culture, benefits, health insurance and profit sharing program.
Description:
Candidates will be working in our shipping & receiving department as a material handler. You will be responsible for building pallets and crating larger product. Loading trucks using a sit-down forklift and will also use overhead cranes to transport material throughout the warehouse. We will train you on overhead crane if you do not have experience.
+ Picking parts for job orders and delivering to different stations
+ Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
+ Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
+ Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
+ Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
+ Perform and report cycle counts
+ Assembles wooden pallets or containers or selects preassembled containers
+ Assembles wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape.
Job Requirements
+ Sit down forklift experienec
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
Work Environment/Shift
8:00am – 4:30pm **Must be flexible if OT occurs but not typically required might be 30 minutes before or after the shift depending on shipments
$19. Performance review and potential for a raise after 120 days
Metal Fabrication Environment – Medium Sized Family Owned Company
Must Wear Steel Toed Boots (All other PPE is provided)
