Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic Opportunity!
Pay: $22-$34/hr depending on experience
3:30pm-2:00am 2nd shift
10 Hour Shifts
+ Normal work schedule will be 5 days, and 6 days during the busy season
+ Need to be open to working OT and Weekends
+ PM’s will occur on Saturdays and in some occasions on Sundays (Will be notified in advance)
Responsibilities:
+ Candidates will normally spend 50 % of their day performing preventative maintenance with their machinery and performing mechanical repairs on the machinery. The other 50% of the day will be working with the operators on repairs and perform mechanical maintenance.
+ Candidates will be required to replace bearings, belts, sheaves, sprockets, chains, and gear reducers.
+ Candidates will be required to work off a mechanical blueprint;
+ Candidates will be working on conveyors, melters, shredders, shrink tunnels, and packaging machinery.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ Troubleshooting mechanical devices in operation, finding resolutions to issues in a safe and timely manner.
• Disassembly and assembly of production equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Repair or replacement of defective parts.
• Designing and fabricating new equipment to meet production needs.
• Making necessary adjustments to functional parts of devices and control instruments, based on production requirements.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment based on schedule or immediate needs.
• Creating and entering work orders for necessary repairs
• Installs, move, and relocate machinery/equipment according to blueprints and other drawings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
+ PLC Troubleshooting experience (Read schematics and understand ladder logic)
+ Experience working in a GMP/ FDA environment
+ Must be able to work off a mechanical blueprint and schematic
+ Mechanical experience
+ Electrical maintenance experience
