EVENT COORDINATOR

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor project milestones and deliverables.

• Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.

• Plan for events with equipment lists and maps for equipment setup at events.

• Create equipment maps of where equipment is placed on a job.

• Oversees equipment check-in to ensure that all equipment was returned in good condition.

• Produce and distribute project documents including event binders with all event information.

• Report project status

• Fulfills needs for various administrative services.

• Design advertising and marketing materials.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Visit local and cross-country events to ensure setup and teardown runs smoothly.

• Document equipment used on-site.

• Assist technicians on events with counting and/or moving equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to create, understand, and implement a budget.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excel.

• Ability to manipulate and create drawings, including the use of satellite maps.

Education/Experience:

• At least 1-2yrs of related experience required with event coordinating experience (5 yrs preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

• Must be able to travel up to a few weeks at a time.
