The On Site Support (OSS) function of our FlightSense organization within Collins Aerospace Power and Controls Aftermarket is considered a center of excellence for commercial flight hour and pooling contracts. Each contract is unique and is meant to be as supportive to the customer needs as they prefer. Our contracts range from solely asset pooling management through to repair flight hour and pooling and any combination in between.

FlightSense is a large and growing aftermarket business with locations throughout the US and multiple international sites and has become a strategic element for Collins Aerospace executive leadership. We currently support 50+ programs, with a constant flow of new contracts being added.

The FlightSense Finance team is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join its organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, teamwork, organizational and analytical skills, as well as a high level of motivation and desire for growth. Candidate will work with cross-functional teams locally as well as internationally and will assist in OSS FlightSense financial aspects including but not limited to owning monthly financial close process, management of the OSS EACs (estimate at completion), and financial reporting. FlightSense is a dynamic and growing business, with lots of opportunities to own and drive process improvements as well as new process development.

The responsibility of this position is to own all accounting and financial planning and reporting processes of OSS activity, and support for FlightSense Aftermarket senior leadership.

This position is located in Rockford, IL and the opportunity to work remotely will be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including all related accounting reconciliations and reporting

+ Conduct monthly financial reporting, planning and analysis to support internal leadership

+ Lead quarterly OSS EAC reviews for all programs working with their program finance team and program managers in various locations throughout the world; this includes presentations to executive leadership

+ Perform ad hoc business and financial analysis and tasks as required by the leadership team

+ Identify and implement process improvements to help predictability of forecasting for programs

+ Manage financial impact of OSS performance and support business units with flow down effects

Basic Qualifications:

+ U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ SAP experience

+ HFM experience

+ Degree in finance or accounting preferred

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
