Routing Analyst

The Routing Analyst (ROA) works directly with Redbox Operations and Logistics Management leaders to provide as-needed support for developing Regional optimized route master databases.

This role provides ongoing support to Operations Field Management and teams regarding the scheduling of new kiosks and establishes fulfillment kiosk schedules. You’ll utilize routing software to develop, produce and evaluate routing performance analysis for existing and potential business and help determine optimized kiosk efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to Ops Team by performing one or more of the following:

+ Use Lean tools, principles, and Territory Planner software to design, create, and implement optimal routing solutions for fulfilling Redbox and business partner kiosks

+ Support Field operations to collaboratively plan and execute optimized route plans

+ Assess and analyze Regional operational statistics and financial results regarding kiosk service costs and make recommendations that result in operational cost savings

+ Maintain the Territory Planner network routing database environments to assure proper operation and to generate optimal routing results when utilizing the routing system

+ Provide ongoing support to Operations Directors, Regional Managers and Regional Operations Supervisors regarding the scheduling of new kiosks, promotional activity and key merchandising and service processes

+ Analyze the impact of alternative work schedules and incremental kiosks merchandized and serviced per FSR

+ Analyze the effectiveness of an implemented reroute through ongoing monitoring and communication with the Operations Team

+ Provide project support as assigned

+ Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management (or related field) preferred; a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree

+ Experience in computerized routing and distribution operations preferred

+ Two years supply chain distribution experience preferred

+ Prior experience with distribution routing and navigational systems software preferred (i.e., Roadnet, Territory Planner, Appian, Roadshow, Truck Stops)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ Ability to work a part-time, flexible schedule

+ Knowledge and application of lean tools and principles

+ Advanced level skills in Excel and Word

+ Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse groups and provide solutions

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Proven written and verbal communication skills

+ Demonstrated organizational skills

+ Self-directed and able to perform with limited supervision

Pay range: $25- $29 per hour. Pay is based on nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skill, and location.
