Job Description:
The Manager, Brand Management is an integral part of the Brand Team, serving in a leading role across the Marketing function. The Brand Team is a proactive, creative and nimble team that is dedicated to building a relevant, differentiated and well-known Crowe brand that supports purpose-driven growth. The Brand Management Manager is responsible for providing clear and consistent guidance for the impactful use of the Crowe Brand and protecting the Brand against risk. Success in the role depends on the ability to develop strategic insight, inspire stakeholders, and confidently deliver clear and compelling brand guidance. This individual is a Champion for Brand and its value.
Responsibilities:
Working with Assistant Director, Brand and the Director, Brand+Insights, the Manager, Brand Management's responsibilities span two main areas:
1. Brand Guidance
Serve as Subject Matter Expert of the Crowe Brand Standards (developed and owned by Crowe Global) with a keen understanding of the importance of consistency and where flexibility is needed/possible.
Provide instructional guidance to help internal stakeholders, decision makers and agencies understand how the Brand Standards support business strategies. Support various groups in finding strategic and innovative ways to use the Crowe Brand to enhance their initiatives, campaigns or other priorities.
Develop and share supplemental and campaign style guidance as needed to address market trends, channel gaps and Crowe priorities while supporting the overarching global Brand Standards.
Work with teams responsible for media strategy to optimize brand for various tactics, channels, audiences, and regions
Lead regular refresh of firmwide assets (including templates, credentials, signage, etc) to maintain fresh use of the Brand Standards and alignment with firm strategy.
2. Brand Governance
Develop and lead a review process to govern the use of Brand Standards across deliverables. Lead assessments of Brand Standard application.
Act as an escalation point for brand identity and naming reviews/approvals, issue resolution and brand consultation to ensure the consistent application of Brand Standards.
Monitor internal and external use of the Brand and Crowe IP including the governance of endorsement strategy and 3rd party usage of Crowe brand
Maintain a logical Brand Architecture Policy and support the naming of new Crowe assets
Act as a strategic advisor during mergers, acquisitions or new product introductions to ensure the protection of the Crowe brand
Skills / Behaviors

Ability to communicate complex (and sometimes ambiguous) concepts in a clear and confident manner.

Qualifications
Requires 6-8 years of marketing, consulting or agency experience preferred. Experience in marketing or brand management at B2B or professional services, a plus.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience providing subject matter expertise in branding fundamentals, with demonstrated ability to constructs, manage and communicate Brand Standards.
Bachelor's degree required
MBA or other master's degree preferred
Expert level proficiency of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with digital asset management platforms
Experience working on a brand refresh, a plus
Experience with IP and Trademark law, a plus
Experience working with senior partners/leadership and diverse teams in a matrix environment, a plus
Knowledge of visual design principles and theory, a plus
