POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. System Administrator/Analyst is responsible for the hands-on leadership of the business system portion of the Enterprise Application Team. They are responsible for the leadership and support of installing, maintaining, and monitoring all the hardware and software required to run the college's multiple administrative computer systems. This position is the main technical support for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business system's application development staff. This position works with vendors, faculty, and staff to lead and accomplish the college's goals through the use of the ERP system(s) and other critical business systems in the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Lead the business system team's efforts and prioritize projects and activities. Supervise business system team staff and conduct performance appraisals according to college Human Resource (HR) policies and procedures.
2.Lead and provide primary backup to install, configure, troubleshoot, and monitor hardware/software applications in support of the college's ERP system and maintain interfaces to other mission critical systems.
3.Lead and provide primary backup to maintain and manage administrative computer operating system(s) including Windows and UNIX, storage, web-based systems, and their associated applications.
4.Lead and perform system maintenance during scheduled downtime window. This could include evenings, weekends and any non-business hours as needed.
5.Provide technical support to application developers and end users as needed.
6.Lead application system security as well as adding and removing users.
7.Lead efforts to establish and maintain test/development environments as needed by IT and key college staff.
8.Document work processes and use change control procedures to manage any changes made to production systems.
9.Lead efforts with vendor(s) on ERP related hardware and software projects including coordinate user signoff of software release testing and change control
10.Maintain competency in emerging technologies related to the college's ERP systems.
11.Participate in the department and college's goals and objectives.
12.Perform related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor 's Degree or equivalent work experience.
2.Five (5) years of applicable system administration experience.
3.Experience with Educational ERP and other business systems, Microsoft SQL databases and web-based technologies.
4.Excellent leadership, problem solving, writing, interpersonal, and communications skills; capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects/initiatives; self-motivated, goal oriented, and very customer focused.
5.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
