Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our dynamic Manufacturing Program Management Team. As a Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing production processes to ensure timely delivery and quality output. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain, to streamline operations and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, resource allocation, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
Handles all administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation with the Launch Engineering Department - a multi-site team that impacts all areas of Rivian development and production.
Facilitates team communications - helps keep the team informed and up to date.
Composes spreadsheets, presentation materials and internal/external correspondence.
Maintains strict level of complete confidentiality with a high volume of confidential information.
Coordinates and schedules meetings and agendas.
Records, tracks and supports the follow-up with department leaders on action items from daily coordination meetings.
Organizes and maintains file systems, correspondence, and other records (paper and electronic as required).
Optimizes the format and layout of the department webpages, templates and shared folders to improve accessibility of data sharing.
Compiles data and graphics to produce and maintain key performance indicator metrics for the department.
Collaborate with the Launch and Operations teams to develop and upkeep build plans, schedules, and timelines.
Work with Launch team on finding ways to improve organizational effectiveness of the team and process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
1+ year experience in program management or operations support role, preferably 2-5 years experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Familiarity with Smartsheets, Confluence and Jira type software
Familiarity with data visualization software such Tableau
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and able to prioritize under pressure
