Job Description
Management Analyst (Naperville, IL),
Job duties: This position is primarily responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the management team as well as conducting studies to improve business efficacy and efficiency. It promotes an aggressive drive toward existing and new program development through research, optimization, and systems development; it conducts managerial and financial analysis to address problems with internal controls and procedures impacting business operations with a focus on reducing costs, streamlining processes, and maximizing resource utilization.
The essential job duties include:
⦁ Working closely with management leaders to identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflows.
⦁ Conducting account analysis to give an indication of company profitability.
⦁ Reviewing financial statements, sales or expenses reports, inventory management, and other performance data to measure goal achievements and identify areas that need cost reduction and service improvement.
⦁ Assessing budgets and operation costs of each project and looking into ways to increase cost-efficiency.
⦁ Performing research and analyzing the content of records to make disclosure determinations.
⦁ Developing solutions to identified risks and discussing with the team and management.
⦁ Assisting management with planning asset investment, budgeting/forecasting, variance, and business analysis.
⦁ Overseeing, planning, and coordinating asset operations involvement in new business opportunities and product offerings.
⦁ Interpreting and interrelating research data to develop integrated business analysis and projections.
⦁ Analyzing business environmental factors, including the strengths and attractions of the competitors’ services, so as to seek areas of improvement to increase competitiveness.
⦁ Auditing internal data and processes to identify and manage initiatives, improve business performance, and utilize data analysis to monitor process efficiencies for large corporatecustomers.
⦁ Responding to inquiries and maintaining effective relationships with internal departments, investment sponsors, and clients.
Minimum job requirements:
⦁ MBA in management or a related field, and at least 3 years of related work experience. The required experience includes at least 3 years of experience in asset management.
⦁ Dedicated managerial and analytical skills while being knowledgeable about best practices in the field, especially financial analysis in new program investment to optimize performance.
⦁ Knowledge of standard business and management practices and principals involved in strategic planning, financial management, and resource allocation.
⦁ Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, R program and SQL.
⦁ Solid analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
⦁ Good verbal and written communication skills.
⦁ Proactive thinking with creative problem-solving approach.
Salary: $115,500.00 per year.
