Job Description
Aon Consulting, Inc., an Aon company, seeks a Health and Benefits (H&B) Assistant Vice President - Actuary based out of headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to perform health and benefits actuarial analysis. Provide financial and actuarial analysis on benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, and budget setting. Deliver health and benefits actuarial work. Grow client portfolio. Lead actuarial teams, share ideas and goals, measure results, and identify process improvements. Provide coaching and feedback to junior actuarial team members. Manage actuarial projects and deliverables. Engage in peer reviews. Anticipate actuarial project needs and develop alternative solutions to address issues. Maintain knowledge of industry, market, and competition and anticipate external market trends. Utilize actuarial software. Contribute to actuarial practice growth through national model development. Tuition reimbursement available for all actuarial exams and related training. All positions require an applicant who has accepted an offer to undergo a background check. May work from home 5 days per week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States up to 10% of the time. Annual salary: $136,510 - $206,400.
