Liberty Packaging Quad Cities is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our dedicated 2nd shift team! We offer highly competitive pay commensurate with experience along with a full benefits package that includes 3 weeks of paid time off in the first year!
Shift differential of $1/hr.
This full-time position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is located at Liberty Packaging's manufacturing plant in Rock Island, Illinois.
Required Skills
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Move stock and load production lines within the warehouse or production facility
Operate lift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipment
Store/retrieve product/materials in the right location
Monitor and maintain material/product quality
Operate simple machinery and hand tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Mobile equipment certified or willing to become certified
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions such as machine-related operations, capabilities, light maintenance and safety requirements
Ability to read work instructions (i.e. SOP's, Specs, etc.)
Ability to withstand continuous sitting; occasional pushing, pulling, bending and/or stooping; and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
