Job Description

Our North America division operates across 35 plants and provides employment opportunities for 9,000 individuals.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Responsible for all aspects of the plant accounting and financial functions in compliance with US GAAP and Amcor Internal Control policies.
Ownership of Plant Income Statement, monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and explanations of actual results versus the financial estimates.
Analyze operating and financial results, identify trends and activities to support effective business decisions.
Key business partnership role and challenge plant leadership to drive performance through engagement, collaboration and encouragement.
Communicate and interact with all levels of the organization through regular presentations to Plant Management and Business Unit Management
Act as a significant contributor to Site/Business Unit commercial excellence utilizing profitability analysis tools and providing strategic guidance on customer profit performance and trends.
Training and development of the financial understanding of the plant leadership team
Balance sheet analysis and reconciliation for key accounts
Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their priority.
The Plant Controller reports to the Business Unit Controller within the Finance organization and will business partner with the Plant Management team. Daily and month-end activities are supported by the Shared Services group and corporate Finance teams.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience -Manufacturing experience a must, leadership experience preferred
Superior analytical and communication skills
