PositionHighlights:
*Position: Ultrasound Technologist I
*Location: Skokie Hospital
*Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem/Resource
*Hours: Rotating shift includes rotating hours and weekends
*Required Travel: Travel to other sites as needed

 

What you will need:
*License: N/A
*Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
*Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographics required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultrasonographer
*Skills: N/A
What you will do:
*Perform ultrasound exam
*Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
*Interprets ultrasound
*Cleans and maintains equipment
*Schedules patients if necessary
