WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE AS A SR. CATEGORY ANALYST?

As a Sr. Category Analyst, you are a master at mining data from various POS data sources, where you unearth valuable insights that help shape the retail landscape. You weave this data together into compelling category data stories, infused with shopper and consumer insights. Using your excellent presentation skills, you inform your audience in an engaging way, delivering actionable plans that leave a lasting impact.

Among other duties, you provide category management insights to our cross-functional partners, which enables collaboration across departments. As the owner of the item data hierarchy, you maintain this information, ensuring accuracy and consistency. You also lead meetings with retailers to outline specific strategies for optimizing their product mix, display space, and promotions. To assist retailers with their strategy, you build Planograms and OOA features. Your dedication to excellence sets you apart, and you thrive on helping retailers achieve best-in-class merchandising!

YOUR SCHEDULE AS A SR. CATEGORY ANALYST

This is a hybrid data analysis position, which means you will work from home and the office, 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Some travel may be needed.

WHAT MATTERS MOST AS A SR. CATEGORY ANALYST

To be successful in this role, you will need exceptional data analysis and communication skills so that you can convey your insights in writing and through presentations. If you can work independently and manage your time efficiently, you will excel in this role. Possessing excellent task-juggling skills will also set you apart. You will also need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail category management
• Expertise in linking analytics and developing insights
• Strong understanding of marketing, sales, shopper insights, corporate strategy, retailer strategy, operations, and planning
• Extensive knowledge of planogram building software such as Blue Yonder
• Strong MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation skills (Experience with Microsoft 365 is preferred.)
