My client is currently hiring for an Electrical Engineer who will be collaborating with other engineers, customers and internal product development teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ If candidate has experience with Mentor Graphics that is a plus
+ Optimize designs to minimize unique part counts and creatively repurpose existing solutions
+ Improve designs and layouts for UL, IEC, and EMI requirements
+ Product documentation, including creating product specifications, BOMs, ECNs, prints, wiring diagrams, etc
+ Create thoughtful thermal design, including component selection and layout for thermal consideration given loads, de-rating for ambient specs, and heat sinking options
+ Design for manufacturability (DFM), collaborate with the production team, and give attention to mfg. keep-aways, spacings, polarities, poke-yoke design, etc
+ Design verification of controls, including noise testing (ESD, conducted emissions, ring wave, etc.) and thermal chamber testing under load
+ Work closely with customers (primarily engineers) to develop product specifications and requirements
+ Work closely with internal teams, including purchasing, customer service, manufacturing, quality, mechanical and software engineering, etc
+ Owning projects from start to finish

Experience Level:
3+ years of experience within development of Embedded Electronic Controls
