Job Description
Hiring an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic who has basic mechanical knowledge in the Joliet, IL area.
Pay (PAID WEEKLY): $20-$25
Shift: M-F 6AM- 2:30PM
Overtime: 10+ hours a week. must be open to working Saturdays
Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield, candidates are cross trained, 401K match, 3 weeks vacation, etc.
Description:
+ Repair basic industrial pumps used to blend and transfer hazardous chemicals
+ Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment including bobcats, skid steers, etc.
+ Operate Bobcat, dump truck, plow and welding equipment as needed
+ Responsible for general facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, sweeping floors, cutting grass, etc.
+ Must act as first response to spills within the facility
+ Other maintenance related tasks (cut and thread pipe, replace dead battery in forklift, minor pump repair)
+ Properly report and document maintenance activities within the work order accounting system
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Pluses include:
-Heavy industrial Maintenance
-Experience working with hydraulics
-Any welding experience
-Chemical or pump repair experience
-Familiar with lockout/tagout procedures
