Job Description
Group O is looking for a Production Control to join our team. Production Control is responsible for prioritizing and scheduling of production orders to both the picking and kitting teams.
Primary Tasks:
+ Distributing and printing allocated production orders
+ Generating pick tickets needed in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
+ Investigating inventory locations in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
+ Generating labels needed by kitting production teams
+ Monitor kitting/picking activities
+ Troubleshoot and resolve picking issues
+ Picking parts
+ Staging kitting activity
+ Looking up schedules, production orders, and inventory locations in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Secondary Tasks:
+ Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
+ Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiency
+ Ability to run provided reports to ensure scheduling targets are met
+ Other duties as assigned
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
+ Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads
+ Ability to follow work instructions
+ Ability to learn and work with ERP and WMS systems
+ Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
+ Ability to work overtime when required
+ Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel)
+ Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
