Join Intel’s SATG group as a Lab Strategy and Planning Program Manager! The Lab Strategy and Planning Program Manager leads and drives several lab transformation related projects and programs tied to the remediation, optimization, and modernization of our labs in support of Intel’s need to get back to product and process leadership. This includes but not limited to:

+ In collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners, productize and scale the Advanced Lab Planning Systems (ALPS) to enable Intel to properly plan for on premise, off premise (colo), and ODC labs worldwide.

+ Streamline the lab supply chain across Intel through processes tied to planning, spending, procuring, and maintaining all assets and collaterals associated with labs.

+ Define KPIs to track lab efficiencies as part of Intel’s lab transformation effort. Drive BUs to set and meet goals and track via aforementioned KPIs. Chair the cross Intel Lab Strategy Work Group (LSWG) that executes Lab Manager council decisions.

+ Develop and implement plan to centralize lab services for inventory management, asset library, full service e-waste and other processes. Ensure that proper utilization of resources are a priority and a prerequisite to justify capacity growth.

+ Interface with multiple cross Intel stakeholders including CS/CRE and BUs to lead the one Intel lab transformation effort.

+ Manages Projects or programs where consistent decisions are made regarding the overall goals and objectives of significant programs or segments of the organization through all phases of the lifecycle. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.

+ Has decision making authority at the program level. Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of project/program decisions and operates within the guardrails. Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally. Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.

+ Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs; communicates expectations to core team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals. Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met.

+ Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.

+ Influences business unit or cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals. Has an understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Math or Engineering and 9+ years of experience OR a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Math or Engineering and 6+ years of experience OR a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Math or Engineering and 4+ years of experience in:

+ Managing complex & large scope labs programs in a high-tech environment

+ Coordination with product development teams, validation engineering, marketing, corporate services, finance, external Architecture & Engineering, and vendor suppliers

+ Project/Program Management

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience managing complex and large scope Si validation labs worldwide across multiple product lines including server and client CPU and chipsets, graphics, ethernet, and graphics.

Intel’s Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $136,750.00-$232,630.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
