About the Team

The Technology Development (TD) Group is responsible for the research, development, and deployment of next-generation silicon and packing technologies that will enable future Intel and Foundry customer products. Within TD, Logic Technology Development (LTD) delivers programs and modules to ramp new process nodes, supports HVM and provides a predictable technology cadence for Intel customers. Logic Technology Development Manufacturing (LTD-M) is responsible for all wafer manufacturing related functions from pathfinding to development to high-volume manufacturing. LTD-M is the first organization to ramp every new major process technology to high-volume and also owns transferring that technology to received factories around the world as part of Intel’s virtual factory network.

About the Role

Logic Technology Development Manufacturing (LTD-M) is looking for a highly driven and disciplined Wafer Cost Program Manager. The Wafer Cost Program Manager will be a critical role in enabling LTD-M’s exquisite execution in support of Intel’s IDM2.0 strategy. This is a senior leadership level role expected to collaborate with factory managers across the Intel factory network. This role is expected to possess strong expertise in factory operations, wafer cost methodology, long range financial planning, quarterly budget cycles, external industry benchmarking and will be responsible for but not limited to:

+ Own the LTD-M wafer cost business process and methodology for process nodes in LTD from initiation to transfer to FSM.

+ Partner with factory managers to ensure learning are being propagated effectively from node-to-node and that the system is effective.

Qualifications

+ Master’s or higher in a relevant engineering or business field

+ 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with 7+ years in semiconductor factory cost related leadership roles.

+ Knowledge of factory operations and their impact on wafer cost

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience leading semiconductor factory level long-range plan process

+ 5+ years’ experience in product cost/design/architecture related finance role

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
