THE ROLE

The Associate, Business Intelligence will have a direct impact on our data and business intelligence strategies and play a critical role in our use and understanding of data, both on a day-to-day basis and across various strategic initiatives as it relates to the hospitality functions of business operations. The role requires end-to-end analysis work, including querying databases, designing reporting dashboards, and communicating results to management. The role will support a variety of data-driven projects, provide actionable insights and solutions to complex business challenges, conduct advanced business analysis, and oversee project implementation. You will approach ambiguous projects with proactiveness, tenacity, and structure. You will have the opportunity to work cross-departmentally and gain experience in all facets of the business operations of a premium experiences company that specializes in delivering holistic solutions for sports and entertainment organizations and venues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

+ Build high-quality data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for organization-wide use, including executive management, primarily leveraging Tableau software.

+ Perform advanced data modeling and analysis on large data sets, interpret, and provide key takeaways in support of business objectives.

+ Help maintain organization data infrastructure, including internal & external integrations within the data warehouse, to support the reporting initiatives of the Business Intelligence team.

+ Query and analyze complex, high-volume data sets, generating ad-hoc and ongoing reports and dashboards to inform business decisions on hospitality, merchandise, attractions, and more.

+ Develop detailed financial and analytical models to further business performance and deal negotiation.

+ Identify new KPIs to track metrics against goals and provide actionable business insights.

+ Present findings and recommendations to all stakeholders, including executive management and third parties.

+ Assist in the validation and QA of new data sources for our data warehouse and additional automated solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform the essential duties at the highest level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, or Quantitative Field, or equivalent degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau is preferred).

+ Detail-oriented team player with the ability multi-task within a fast-paced environment, work with ambiguity, learn new skills quickly, and prioritize against competing deadlines.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex results in a clear, concise, and credible manner to a variety of stakeholders.

+ Curious self-starter who quickly learns new concepts, showcases strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrates attention to detail.

+ Intellectual curiosity, creativity, tenacity in analysis, and accountability for results.

+ Willingness to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex environment.
