The Role at a Glance

This position will consult, analyze and deliver on complex assignments and projects for the Retail Strategy & Planning team. They will act as a resource to support planning, portfolio execution and progress tracking by analyzing business needs and working with internal stakeholders to document and capture strategic priorities, milestones and progress updates.

What you’ll be doing

+ Establish and execute on clear and consistent processes and procedures for documenting, tracking and measuring success of organizational strategic priorities and objectives.

+ Support the development and ongoing updates of the Retail Solutions Strategic Dashboard.

+ Analyzes data to contribute to development of actionable plans that reflect the most significant strategies of each segment, including working across organizational boundaries to include distribution, service, technology & other areas.

+ Gathers & analyzes data to supports the creation of implementable 3-year plans that link strategy to tactics and foster growth & profitability, while ensuring business plans align with LFG’s growth, financial & business objectives.

+ Gathers and analyzes data pertaining to organizational issues including cultural, structural, business process or organizational alignment as they relate to strategies.

+ Directly and indirectly scans the environment, enlisting internal and external resources to identify risks and opportunities.

+ Analyzes data and translates findings into meaningful insights, integrating relevant business knowledge.

+ Researches and gathers data necessary for conducting cost-benefit analysis for proposed opportunities.

+ Researches and analyzes our space to identify business growth opportunities.

+ Partners with the business to establish metrics for objectives.

What we’re looking for

+ 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) (Minimum Required)

+ 3 – 5+ Years business analytics and/or project management experience in the financial services that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of the position. (Required)

+ Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

+ Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.

+ Ability to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.

+ Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

+ Evaluate trends in data or information.

+ Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.?

+ Ability to design and develop solutions aligned to strategic plans

+ Ability to drive strategic alignment across multiple work streams and maximize project synergies for holistic and high impact business solutions

+ Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.

Pay Range: $65,700 – $118,300

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
